Rattlesnake Weed

Common Name: Rattlesnake Weed
Scientific Name: Hieracium venosum
Range: New England ~ Missouri to
Louisiana and Florida
Flowering: May ~ September
Habitat: Dry Woods, Thickets, Clearing and Clearcut areas
This Native woodland flower is fairly common in Tennessee. The .5" -.75" flowers look similar to dandelions. The plant has two different kinds of leaves.
