Cleveland Pear Trees

Common Name: Cleveland Pear
Scientific Name:
Range:
Flowering:
Habitat:
Seedfall:
Cleveland Pear trees are a popular landscaping tree in the southeast. Cleveland pears are similar to Bradford Pears, except the trees foliage tends to be slightly taller rather than big a bushy. This tends to give the Cleveland trees a little more resistance to wind damage, but they are still susceptible to breakage.

Some people do not like the odor of the trees when flowering, however, since the tree only flowers a few weeks per year, this does not seem to be an issue with most people.
