Hunting License Cost 2005

The following table is a list of states and the cost of their deer hunting license. We have tried to compare apples to apples in that we want to be able to hunt each states entire deer season with all available weapons and any public land permits required.

For example in Tennessee there are three basic seasons; archery, muzzleloader, and firearms. Each of these weapons requires a $28 license, plus you need a regular hunting license ($28) and a type 94 WMA permit ($21) is required for most public lands.
