| I recently read an article
about hunting big bucks in the middle of the day. For the last two
weeks I had been hunting from 10 to 2 and had already got a nice 8
point at 11:15. I got out in my stand about 9:30 and had seen a doe
running through the woods being chased by some dogs about 11:00.
Around 12:00 this buck came running through the woods toward my
stand. I could tell he had a good size rack and when he slowed down
between two trees I dropped him with my 30-06. I was very pleased to
find out he was an eleven point with a 16" spread.
Both deer are now getting mounted.
