Green Swamp (east) Wildlife Management Area is 49,768 acres of pine flatwoods, swamps, and cypress domes.  Hunting opportunities for deer, hog, turkey, and more. The area is managed in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.

In addition to hunting Green Swamp is a popular area for camping, fishing, hiking, bicycling, and wildlife viewing. More than 20 miles of the Florida Trail cross the Green Swamp Wildlife Management Area. Camping is allowed year round in designated areas.
