The Great Smoky Mountain National Park has many natural formations but the waterfalls are one of my favorites. Grotto Falls is one of the easiest waterfalls to access in the Smoky Mountains. The falls is only about 15' - 20' high but is well worth the short hike.

Grotto Falls is located off of the Roaring Fork Motor Trail about 4 miles from traffic light #8 in Gatlinburg, TN. The trail head has a small parking area and the 1.2 mile (2.4 total miles) trail is easy to follow and only gains 500' in elevation.
