This statue of Timothy Demonbreun is overlooking the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. It is located a couple of hundred yards from Riverfront Park and directly across from LP Field.

The Cumberland River was crucial to the early population of Nashville and numerous other towns along the river.

 

The plaque on the base of the sculpture reads
