Savage Gulf Rock Climbing

Although South Cumberland State Park in Tennessee includes a large number of sandstone cliffs, the most popular climbing area is around the Stone door area of the park.

A free permit/liability form must be signed before climbing and is available at the Stone Door Ranger Station. If the Ranger Station is closed be sure to sign the hikers sign-in log at the kiosk near the ranger station.
