The Southern
Leopard Frog is fairly common in Tennessee. They are primarily nocturnal and
can be found near any freshwater source or hunting in nearby moist vegetation.
During the day they like to hide in tall grass or reeds, generally on the
sunny bank. This picture was taken in early September in Coffee county
Tennessee. |
