Common Grackle (purple phase) was taken in Putnam County Tennessee in early
July.
This particular Common Grackle has grown pretty fearless of people and
would hang out at a duck feeding area at Cane Creek Park. When someone would
throw bread to a duck on land this grackle would fly down and try to grab
bread before the ducks could get to it.
