Manatee

The Manatee is an endangered aquatic mammal sometimes called a 'sea cow'. Manatees spend most of their time in warm, shallow water grazing on aquatic vegetation.

In the US, they are primarily found in the warm waters of Florida, but they have been occasionally found as far north as New York and one was even 700 miles up the Mississippi river in Tennessee. Unfortunately the Tennessee manatee later died.
