The Richardson's Ground Squirrel eats numerous insects as well as leaves, stems and seeds of a wide variety of plants.

Range:	NW Colorado to SW Idaho North to Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and SW Manitoba
Diet:	tree seeds, berries, insects, bird feeders
Habitat:	Prairies
