The Bearded Dragons natural habitat is the
deserts of Australia. They have become a very popular pet and breed fairly
easily in captivity. Bearded Dragons do become tame with regular handling,
but males are aggressive towards each other. If kept as pets insure you use
sand or sand like bedding and FULL-SPECTRUM lighting for a minimum of 12
hours per day (be sure to use a timer on lights). Bearded Dragons are
omnivores and will eat insects and anthropoids and should be fed zucchini,
sprouts, greens. All food should be dusted with a vitamin supplement. |
