Six-Lined Racerunner

This Six-Lined Racerunner is diurnal lizard that is most active in the morning where it can be found hunting and basking in the sun. It avoids cool weather by burrowing into the ground. Females have a white throat while the males throat is blue or green. This great photo was taken in Texas.
