Benton MacKaye Trail

The Benton MacKaye Trail (BMT) trail starts at Springer Mountain Georgia, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. There are currently 90 miles of trail complete with elevations ranging from 1,500 to over 4,000 feet before coming to it's temporary end in southern Tennessee. 


 

Expect few people and some not so obvious water sources. Tent camping.
