The Obed Wild & Scenic River section of the Cumberland Trail is a 14.2 mile section of completed trail that crosses the Catoosa Wildlife Management Area. Most of this section of trail is closed during Big Game Hunts, and during the months of February and March. The only part of this section open is from the Nemo Trailhead 2.6 miles in to the WMA boundary at Alley Ford.

Camping is permitted only in

Nemo Trailhead -  exit from I-40 at exit #347 and go north to Wartburg. In Wartburg follow signs to the Nemo/Catoosa Rd and take it 7 miles to the Obed WSR bridge. Cross the bridge and take the first right into the Rock Creek camp area.

Devils Breakfast Table Trailhead -  Take the Peavine rd. exit off of I-40, Crossville exit 322, and go north 1.8 miles. Turn left on Firetower Rd. Go 14.7 miles to the Devils Breakfast parking area on the right. The trail is 50 yards up the road.
