  • Joshua Bromwell - Captain Bromwell of the State Fishery Force drowned in the Little Choptank River. September 17, 1893. John Henry Fields was convicted of Warden Barne's murder and hung in December 1945.
  • Gordon Barnes - Deputy Game Warden Barnes was shot and killed February 5, 1945. John Henry Fields was convicted of Warden Barne's murder and hung in December 1945.
  • William Schriver - Inspector Schriver drowned October 1, 1956
  • Charles W. Rider - Warden Rider was killed in an automobile accident November 7, 1963
  • George T. Mullikin - Inspector Mullikin drowned April 1, 1966
  • Harry L. George - Lieutenant Colonel George was killed in an airplane accident October 24, 1978
