Burgess Falls State Park - Tennessee

River Trail offers views of all three waterfalls. The trail is 1.5 miles round trip from the parking area to the Burgess Falls overlook. It is possible to extended the hike by walking an additional 1/2 mile (1 mile round trip) to the bottom of Burgess Falls. This section of the trail is steep, and includes a steel stair case.

There is also the 1 mile "Ridge Top Trail" which starts near the Big Falls overlook and offers views of the Falling Water River as it merges into Center Hill Lake.

Approximately 30' tall, Middle Falls is located 1/2 mile from the parking area and is best seen from the overlook on the River Trail (above). More information about Middle Falls.
