Cane Creek Cascade

Cane Creek Cascade - Fall Creek Falls State Park

Cane Creek Cascade is located behind the Betty Dunn Nature Center in Fall Creek Falls State Park. The bottom of the cascade is a popular swimming hole, but use caution, the creek bed is VERY slippery.

Visible at the top of the cascade is the swinging bridge that crosses Cane Creek to allow hikers access to the trail to Fall Creek Falls and other areas of the park. This photo was taken during the summer when the water level was low.

Down stream approximately 150 yards from Cane Creek Cascade, is Cane Creek Falls.

The park is located in Van Buren and Bledsoe Counties in middle Tennessee. Other falls located within the park include Piney falls, Fall Creek Falls, and Rockhouse Creek Falls.

I recommend using the southern entrance to Fall Creek Falls, the road is far less curvy. From I-40 near Cookeville take the hwy 111 exit and go South to hwy 284 (aprox. 50 miles) follow signs.
